The noticeboard for towns of 5,000

Everything on in your town, on one board.

The flea market, the choir concert, the council meeting. Placette gathers every local event in one place, added by neighbours and linked back to the organiser's original post.

On Placette today: Valmont-sur-Lys 15 eventsSaint-Lys-le-Vieux 1Castelnau-des-Prés 1

A village noticeboard under a string of bunting, covered in posters for the farmers' market, an open mic night, the council meeting, a lantern parade, a repair café and a rugby derby.

How it works

A noticeboard the whole town can pin to.

Until now you heard about the flea market only if you followed the right organiser on the right network. Placette puts it all in one place.

  1. Neighbours add events

Seen a poster at the bakery? Any member can add an event in two minutes. It is published straight away.

  2. Every event links to the original post

One tap takes you to the organiser's own Facebook post, Instagram post or web page. Placette points to the source, it does not replace it.

  3. You get the list, the calendar and the email

Browse what is next, flip through the month, or let the Monday digest bring the week to your inbox.
